   I have had the GSO f/4 Newtonian for quite some time and rarely used it even though the images were normally decent. A coma corrector is a must for these scopes and the GSO (or TPO) product made the imaging train so long that I wasn’t comfortable using it unattended (Asiair). This Newtonian solves this issue and with the included coma corrector I

   can get focus with only a filter drawer and a 10mm spacer before the camera. Yes, there are some light leaks and the focuser is not the greatest but overall with the AM5 mount to overcome balance issues this scope takes some quality photos.
