David A. Verified Buyer –
The CEM40 was a blessing in disguise! While I was a bit timid about operating the iPolar alignment routine, my fears were waylaid because there is nothing to worry about. The mount is very quiet and it handle my RC 6 quite well. I have yet to try my C8 or C11 on it, but I doubt I will have any problems. The mount is very solid and robust. I switch
ed the tripod legs from my ZEQ25 mount (2″ thick legs) and removed the Lite-Roc legs and put the ZEQ25 legs on instead. I then placed the 6″ mini-pier on it and everything is hunky dory! I typically do a Sync to Target of objects that I am going to image on a bright nearby star and the goto gets the object in the FOV. I have always enjoyed using my ZEQ25 and it looks like the CEM40 will continue the tradition form now on!
