The Apertura V-Series Dovetail Bar Clamp is designed to seamlessly integrate with your gear, ensuring your accessories are always securely mounted. To help you craft your perfect setup, this clamp offers a variety of attachment points tailored for adaptability. It features a central ¼”-20 threaded bolt connection for easy attachment to most common dovetails and top rails. This clamp includes two centered 8.6 mm passthrough holes and five perimeter 6.6 mm holes. These passthrough holes are precisely shouldered to accommodate bolt heads up to M6 or ¼”-20 in size, providing a reliable and adaptable mounting solution for all your astronomy needs!

Fumbling Verified Buyer –
Smooth, clamps well, holes usable. Pretty sure the holes are designed for some other application: I just needed an alternate mounting spot for my AirPlus – up fron to help reduce counter weight needed. The holes on the clamp are large and widely spaced – 6 and 8 mm holes for 2 and 3 mm screws is overkill – lol. So I opted for a single 1/4-20 mount
. Had to print up a special washer to make it all work – but the AirPlus is secure and doesn’t wiggle. Now if they had something to reposition my guide camera.
