I only needed to buy half the length of the dove tail to do the job I needed (putting the very old C-8 onto a “new” G-4 mount). I was able to get the job done, now the old 8 inch Smit-Cassagrain tracks very well. I’m glad that HP was able to supply me with the part. CHW
