Control and Settings
The Star Adventurer has a user-friendly mode dial with pre-programmed control settings. Celestial/sidereal, solar, lunar tracking, and even customized tracking speeds. Wi-Fi Capabilities
The Wi-Fi capability is a feature that really sets the Star Adventurer apart! Control this star tracker from the convenience of your phone or tablet through the Star Adventurer mini-Console app, available for both Android and iOS devices. With the mode dial set to APP mode, unlock a plethora of advanced settings and features to give you complete control over your astrophotography session. As an added bonus, the Star Adventurer 2i features free upgradeable firmware.

Integrated Polar Scope
Included with the Star Adventurer 2i is a built-in polar scope with illuminator for precise system calibration and alignment in either the northern or southern hemispheres. This 7-degree field of view polar scope can be used with the dedicated star adventurer control app, or any popular polar alignment app on the market, to help ensure you’re dialed in with your polar alignment.

Latitude (EQ) Adjustment Base
No more eyeballing your latitude with the latitude EQ adjustment base. Also known as an equatorial wedge, this tool allows for easy adjustments to your specific location. Simply rotate the knob and adjust the azimuth (left/right) knobs to precisely center Polaris in the polar scope. It also includes a bubble level giving you even more control!

Declination Bracket and Counterweight
The included declination bracket allows for additional movement and easier adjustment of your optical setup without the need for a ball head. As the name suggests, the declination bracket allows for adjustment in declination in addition to right-ascension. And unlike using a ball head, the attachable 1 kg (2.2 lb) counterweight system offsets the weight of your optics for smoother tracking motion and less wear and tear to the Star Adventurer motor.

Power Versatility
While out in the field, the last thing you want is to run out of power in the middle of your tracking. Fear not! The Star Adventurer 2i can run off of 4 AA batteries, or through devices (like your laptop) connected via the mini-USB port.
