High Quality Construction
Each filter in the Apertura
1.25″ LRGB Astrophotography Filter Set features high-quality components from
the substrate to the coating to ensure excellent imaging performance. The
core of these high quality filters is a 1.85 mm Schott B270 substrate, providing
high transmission of on-band wavelengths. Blocking out the off-band
wavelengths with precision blocking is the premium coating, which is durably
bonded with Ion Assisted Deposition (IAD) technology. This is finished to a
λ/4 surface flatness and 60/40 surface quality for a surface that is
as high quality as the coating and substrate! This is all housed in 1.25″
threaded filter cells with 26 mm of clear aperture and a short 5 mm height,
making this well suited for micro 4/3 or smaller sensors and the vast
majority of filter integration solutions on the market today.
