This is my first of 3 narrowband filters and if you are just getting into this hobby with astrophotography in mind, a Hydrogen Alpha filter is the first one you are going to want to buy first. The SII filter is going to be one of the last ones you buy after an OIII filter. Exposure times are multiplied with SII depending on target and may not even
show anything at all. Still, I believe this does what it is supposed to do and only lets in what it is supposed to. Since this is my first SII filter, I can’t really compare it to others except for newbie advice to save it for last.
