I was looking for a case that would work for my Celestron 4SE but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars. And I wanted a case that would travel well and work for convenient storage. We took the telescope across country without a problem — it fit perfectly as a carry-on on the plane. Note the accessories and tripod were in a separate case I pur
chased from Amazon.
HP recommends using your original packaging, which is what we did. Please be aware you will have to trim the original styrofoam packaging down to fit — that process took about 30 minutes to get exactly right. It fits perfect.
