   I’ve used it for protection during cool-down on a 6″ Mak-Cass (20″ long), a 6″ Mak-Newt (28″ long) and a baby 80mm ES apo refractor. Works well with all on my SkyviewPro EQ mount. It’s a bit large for 6 inchers, but that’s fine. The 4 stars? The drawstring doesn’t work well: I think loops on the outside to take a piece of cord or a long bungie wou

   ld work easier and better to keep it on in windy conditions. (E.g. last night on Long Island doing cool-down for the lunar eclipse, 12F and winds, brrr! I did get half of the sequence on camera with my little apo–super sharp in the super-cold–but then it clouded over just before red totality: fate!) Overall, a good cover for the price and I see little likelihood of it tearing either.
