Apertura knows that “simple” doesn’t have to be synonymous with “cheap”. Unlike other collimation caps which are made from plastic and reflective stickers, the Apertura 1.25″ Collimation Cap is machined from solid aluminum with a bright reflective ring. This cap fits in 1.25″ focusers, or 2″ focusers with the use of a user supplied step-down adapter. For those looking for a dedicated 2″ focuser collimation tool Apertura does make this cap in a larger size!

Where other designs use a simple sticker with a hole, the Apertura 1.25″ Collimation Cap has a polished bottom ring, resulting in a bright machine finish.
