2″ SCT Diagonal: The body of the 2″ diagonal, which is carbon fiber plated, comes complete with a 2″ to 1.25″ adapter which has a non-marring brass compression ring to hold your 1.25″ eyepieces firmly in place. The adapter is threaded for 2″ filters. The nose piece of the diagonal has an SCT thread so you can easily attach the diagonal to your SCT scope. Apertura has designed this diagonal with a twist lock mechanism and set screws, that can be utilized when the adapter is not in place, to firmly hold your 2″ eyepiece. The dielectric coatings on the 1/12th wave BK7 mirror have 99% reflectivity across the visible spectrum.

The Apertura Portable Telescope Power supply uses lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 155Wh to provide power to various observation accessories. The body of the Apertura power tank comes with both LED status indicators and an LED red-light flashlight. The flashlight has standard and strobe-light settings.
