I needed another mount and already owning a GEM28 I tried the CEM mainly to see the difference in the two. Both work well with asiair, are smooth, light and quiet. The only issue with the CEM 26 is with a light scope such as the SW72ED and OAG (no guide scope) the weight must be moved up high enough that the counterweight will interfere with the a
ltitude adjustment knob, at least at 32deg. latitude. I will use it for a heavier scope so really not a problem for me. The quality is impressive as is the GEM28.
