   I ordered a set of these rings for my Explore Scientific ED80 after the stock dovetail bar became useless to a stripped screw thread (a common problem with those scopes). These rings have a high-quality finish and a nice layer of felt inside so that your OTA is protected. On my white-and-black scope they look great! The rings fit perfectly on my s

   cope and the clamping mechanism and hand screws are very simple to use. I can rotate or remove my OTA within just a few seconds.

   I would recommend using washers with the supplied bolts that attach your dovetail bar to the rings. One of the bolts poked through the felt layer and marred the OTA’s finish a bit. With washers on each bolt, they hold the rings very securely while staying below the felt layer. This may or may not be an issue depending on what dovetail bar you are using…I was using a Stellarvue TP005.

   The WO 90mm rings are a great way to mount your 90mm OD scope and I highly recommend them.
