HAE29 Dual Alt-Azimuth/Equatorial Strain Wave Gear Mount

A new addition to the strain wave gear mount family, the HAE29 is a lightweight, versatile, dual alt-azimuth/equatorial mount. Weighing less than 8 pounds, this small mount has an impressive payload capacity of 29.7 pounds! Best of all, no counterweight or shaft is needed! This “C” version of the HAE29 strain wave mount has an internal main board with built-in WiFi. This feature eliminates the need for the hand controller so users can utilize their computer, tablet, or other device to operate the mount.

The HAE29 features strain wave gear technology for the movement along both the right ascension (RA) and declination (DEC) axes. This high performance allows for an excellent weight-to-payload efficiency. With a rugged, all metal, CNC machined body, the HAE29 also features an electronic friction break and power-down memory. This allows the mount to stop and resume a GoTo slew or to continue tracking even after an abrupt power loss, with no need to realign and begin from the beginning.
