Preserving our night vision is critical in astronomy applications so we can view the stars with the utmost clarity. This is why Apertura has designed this Ember Headlamp to emit red only. Red light has the least impact on our eyes’ dark adaptation, making it optimal for stargazing. With the absence of a white light setting, something typically found within traditional headlamps, say goodbye to the accidental “Whoops!” of hitting the white light mode. Thanks to the ingenuity from Apertura, the risk of ruining your night vision, as well as the night vision of those around you, is eliminated.
