Pretty sturdy, three levels of red light brightness. When using only the light, the charge lasts a long time. Can be used as a USB charger in a pinch, but doesn’t last long that way (there are other, better, options). The only very minor gripe I have is that the orange port covers degrade and fall off eventually (this is the second unit I’ve bough
t, its Input port cover fell off the first day I used it) — minor enough I didn’t bother warranty-returning it. I just cover the ports with gaffer’s tape.
