Remotely power your astronomy or astrophotography rig with this portable, lithium-ion power supply from Apertura! This Apertura Power Supply Unit can provide USB, DC, and AC power for your astronomical equipment, including telescope mounts, cooled astronomy cameras, focus motors, WiFi control units, dew heaters, and more!

The Apertura Portable Telescope Power supply uses lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 155Wh to provide power to various observation accessories. Weighing in at about 3.5 lb., this power supply is extremely lightweight and easy to take on the road so you can observe the night sky anywhere without worrying about finding an external power source. The body of the Apertura power tank comes with both LED status indicators and an LED red-light flashlight. The flashlight has standard and strobe-light settings.

The Apertura portable power supply has many fantastic features that set it apart from the competition. Not only is this supply easy to use, but it comes with three additional power adapters, dual-mode charging, and several ports that will make connecting your astronomy gear a breeze!

Red Indicator Light
The Apertura power supply comes with a red indicator light on the side of the tank to indicate the battery power status. When charging, these lights will blink and then will cease once the tank is fully charged. When in use, you can check your remaining battery power by pressing the “Battery Check” button next to the indicator light. When the AC Inverter is on, the circular indicator and the power level indicator light will remain lit.

Dual Charging Modes
This Apertura power supply can be charged in two ways. The first is with the included AC wall charger, and the second is with the included DC 15V/A car charger. Charging from empty to fully charged takes approximately 7-8 hours. For car charging, it is recommended to charge this power supply while the engine is running, so as not to deplete the car battery. You will know when the Apertura supply is fully charged when all battery indicators are no longer blinking.

Included Ports
The Apertura power tank comes with three DC 9~12.6V/10A(15A Max) DC Power Output ports with a standard 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm center positive connector. This size is common and can use the same cable as many astronomy devices like WiFi camera control units, cooled astronomy cameras, and more. Also included are three 5v 2.1A (max) power ports for USB devices. Once a standard USB cable is connected to one of these ports and the “Battery Check” button is pressed, the charge status panel will glow red to show the DC power output is on. With the AC power outlet, you can power devices with less than 100 watts, which can be powered by a Modified Sine Wave output. Be careful to check your devices’ power requirements before pairing them with this power supply

Three Power Adapters
Included with the Apertura portable power supply are three 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm to Cigarette Lighter adapters. These additional plugs allow you to connect the supply to many popular telescope mounts and dew heaters without requiring the purchase of additional adapters.
