Apertura Universal 2 AMP AC Adapter
This Apertura Universal 2amp AC Adapter is designed as a power supply for telescopes and mounts that have AC power requirements that do not exceed 2amps. The Universal 2A power adapter plugs into the 5.5 mm DC input port on the mount and the other end terminates in a standard US AC wall outlet to provide a constant stream of power to your telescope.
This version of the Apertura AC2 power adapter has an increased resting voltage when compared to the previous version offered by Apertura. This increased resting voltage results in a more accurate voltage of around 12v when under load. As far as safety certifications, the Apertura power adapter is UL listed.

AC Adapter Connectors
The barrel on one end of the cable is a 5.5 mm center-positive female plug that connects to the mount’s DC input power jack. The connection is strong enough to help combat accidental cable pulls. This cable from Apertura is also compatible with other devices that require 2A @ 12V, as long as they use the 2.1 mm x 5.5 mm center-positive ac adapter tip. Please ensure that you have a compatible mount or piece of equipment before purchasing the Apertura AC adapter. Apertura’s cable adapter delivers 2A @ 12VDC. This AC Adapter has a US Type A plug. If you are in doubt, check compatibility before purchasing the adapter.The Apertura AC2 power adapter is compatible with the following Celestron mounts: NexStar SLT Series, AstroFi Series, SkyProdigy Series, NexStar SE Series, and the NexStar Evolution Series.

This product is backed by the Apertura One Year Electronics Warranty. We guarantee this product to be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year from the time of delivery. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or other things not expressly covered under manufacture defects. This item is not covered under the Apertura Absolute Warranty.
