Askar has designed the V refractor to have an exchangeable lens system. With
the V60 lens, the native focal ratio is f/6 and the focal length is 360mm. The
V80 lens has a native focal ratio of f/6.25 and a focal length of 500mm. The V
comes with a scaled 360° rotator and finder base, as well as 1.25” and 2”
visual adapters. This design supports high-quality visual observation.
Additionally, the multifunctional handle allows the refractor to be more
portable and provides an easier connection to a Vixen-style finder base and
other compatible accessories. This refracting telescope is a highly
cost-effective choice whose advantage of multi-function caters to all level
amateur astronomers. Whether you are new to astronomy or an experienced
amateur, you will find something to suit your needs with the Askar V!

Dual Objectives, Six Different Perspectives
This single Askar V kit brings you
six different takes on the night sky, with its unique dual
objective design and three corrective elements. To ensure you get vibrant
and crisp views through all of these varied perspectives, both the 60mm and
80mm lenses feature air-spaced triplet APO optical designs with two ED
elements per lens. So regardless of whether you tune your Askar V for speed,
wide field imaging, or longer focal length, rest assured that you’ll get
great optical performance! For a deeper dive on the different perspectives
you can see through this six-in-one scope, be sure to check out our
review of the Askar V and its different configurations!
Askar V Reducer
When you use the Askar V reducer, you can effectively reduce exposure time
and expand the field of view to meet your astrophotography requirements. The
reducer coupled with V60 objective lens will provide a focal length of
270mm, and the focal ratio is increased to f/4.5. When using the reducer
with the V80 objective lens, the focal length is 384mm, and the focal ratio
is increased to f/4.8. The V reducer unlocks further performance from the
Askar V, bringing more convenience and possibilities for wide-field deep sky
astrophotography.
Askar V Flattener
Askar has designed the V flattener to improve field curvature and edge
quality while reducing aberrations. With the 60mm objective lens, the focal
length remains 360mm and the focal ratio is f/6. When using the 80mm
objective lens, the focal length changes to 495mm and the focal ratio
becomes f/6.18. The V flattener helps you obtain clearer photos. It is an
indispensable tool to add to your high-quality photography setup.
Askar V Extender
The Askar V extender illustrates Askar’s none-stop innovation spirit and
fulfills a part of the market vacant. The V extender, when used with the
60mm objective lens has a focal length of 446mm and a focal ratio is f/7.43.
When using it with the 80mm objective lens, the focal length is 600mm and
the focal ratio is f/7.5. It supports connection to both included objective
lenses, and the effective extension of the focal length will allow for
clearer images and more details to be visible.
Comprehensive Kit
In addition to the Askar V’s unique set of two main lenses and three
corrective elements (reducer, extender, and flattener), a host of essentials
are included in this package as well! To attach the scope to your mount an
11.8″ V-style dovetail bar comes attached to the included scope ring. For
supporting equipment, a traditional finder shoe is included as well as an

360° camera rotator which makes adjusting your framing simple! All of
this packs away in the included sturdy fabric case for safe storage and
travel!
