The EclipSmart Eclipse Solar Filter is a must-have accessory perfect for viewing the Sun and eclipses. Made of a scratch-resistant polymer, this Celestron filter utilizes a solar-safe film produced by American Paper Optics, one of the suppliers recommended by NASA. Affordable, easy to use, and best of all, ISO-certified Solar Safe, this solar filter will unlock your telescope’s ability to safely observe the beautiful details of our Sun.

This solar filter is custom designed for the following Celestron telescope models: AstroMaster 130EQ and AstroMaster 130EQ-MD telescopes. This Celestron solar filter features an orange tint, producing a natural look perfect for visual observing and capturing images through your telescope. Included with the filter are two hook and loop straps securely hold the filter in place for a safe, snug fit. Also included is a safety cap to protect the outer surface of the filter when not in use.

Please Note: Upon receiving your EclipSmart filter, you will notice “wrinkles” or “waves” in the film. Waves and wrinkles are normal. Hard creases, however, are not normal. While EclipSmart film with hard creases is still safe, the creases may degrade the quality of the image. Do not use if there are any puncture marks, holes, or tears in the filter.

Important Safety Notice : Make sure to inspect your filter before every use. Do not use and discard the filter if the solar film is damaged, torn, punctured, or separated from the frame in any way.
