I have used this scope many times with either an ZWO ASI 120MC or 432MM camera. The results were pleasing. The scope is ready to go out of the box and easy enough to set up on my Star Watcher Adventurer GTi tracking mount. I do not use it for visual solar astronomy, only photography. It’s supposed to be safe for viewing, but I prefer not to do so.
The 432 camera can get full disc B&W images of the Sun, which look great in H-alpha. The image is small-ish, but a 2x Barlow should give you great results. I used a 3x Barlow and could only get about 95% of the disk in the image. With my 120 camera, I can get a beautiful color image, but the FOV is small, making it difficult to get a full disk image, again about 95% of the disk.
