Celestron Hummingbird 9-27×55 ED Angled Spotting Scope
The Celestron Hummingbird 9-27×56 is a “micro” ED spotting scope, and like its namesake, the Hummingbird Micro Spotting Scope is as well suited to long-distance travel as it is to the backyard. This small, waterproof spotting scope uses Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass for great color and clarity. It easily zooms from a medium 9X (perfect for quick observations without requiring the help of a tripod) to a powerful 27X further than your eyes can see.
The Celestron 9-27×56 Hummingbird is small enough to easily fit in a small shoulder bag, or stowed away in your carry-on luggage. It is perfect for birders who prefer a more travel-friendly alternative to a full-size spotting scope. The close focus of just 10 feet also comes in handy when you’re lucky enough to have a bird land nearby. Check out how the Celestron 9-27×56 performs in the video below.
The Hummingbird can be used safely in any weather due to the solid, nitrogen-purged casing. This weatherproofing keeps it protected against wet weather, humid conditions, and other environmental challenges, and keeps the optics from fogging on the interior due to quick changes in temperature. The durable armor works to keep the Hummingbird protected against bumps and jolts during transport and while in the field.
The Celestron Hummingbird Spotting Scope is can be attached to a tripod, monopod, or window mount, providing a variety of options for viewing.
